The Senior Corporate Director of Pharmacy Operations is responsible for all areas of clinical pharmacy operations for all 47 system hospitals to include but not be limited to: clinical pharmacy support initiatives that impact drug utilization, clinical education and staff development, management of appropriate medication utilization. Responsible for ensuring the development of drug utilization review and other clinical initiatives pertaining to positive outcome and cost savings that impact drug utilization. Assists to identify potential cost-savings opportunities via appropriate Formulary management. Assists, makes recommendations, develops and implements improved clinical procedures and “best practices” to minimize and prevent future adverse medication events.
Preferred candidates will have experience in a corporate environment overseeing at least 10-15 hospitals. Experience with Meditech and Sentri7 preferred.
